Everything your wallet
should already do

Hold, move and swap assets on seven networks. Choose whether Aurix looks after your keys or you do, or use both side by side.

Custody

Custodial or self-custody

Two ways to hold the same assets. Start wherever you are comfortable and move across when it suits you.

Custodial account

We hold the keys

Sign in with an email address and two-factor code. Aurix holds the keys, so a lost device does not mean lost funds.

  • No recovery phrase to look after
  • Reset your password with an email link and your 2FA code
  • Suited to first wallets and smaller balances
Self-custody

You hold the keys

Keys are created or imported on your device and encrypted there. By default an encrypted recovery copy is also kept, which Aurix support can open after a recovery request. You can turn that off.

  • Transactions are signed on your device
  • Recovery by support is on unless you untick it
  • With recovery off, only your phrase can restore the vault

If you turn recovery off, your recovery phrase is the only way back into your vault and support cannot restore it. Either way, write it down and keep it offline. How recovery works.

How it works

From empty wallet to first swap

Four steps. On a desktop or tablet this section scrolls sideways as you move down the page; on a phone, swipe through the cards.

1

Create

Aurix generates a new vault on your device and shows you a 12 word recovery phrase. An encrypted recovery copy is uploaded unless you untick it.

Ethereum · Base · Arbitrum · Bitcoin · Solana · BNB Chain · Tron

2

Import

Already have a wallet? Restore it from a recovery phrase or a private key. Addresses for every supported chain are derived automatically.

12 / 24 word phrases · private keys

3

Hold

See your Account and Vault balances with a running total in your own currency.

Native coins · USDT · USDC

4

Swap

Exchange coins in your Account on the same network, with the rate and fees shown before you confirm. In this test version swaps are simulated.

Quote · fee · confirmation

Import an existing wallet

Two ways in, both handled on your device:

  • Recovery phrase — 12 or 24 words, BIP-39 compatible.
  • Private key — a single key for one chain and address.

Aurix never receives a phrase or key in readable form. If recovery is on, an encrypted copy is uploaded. Don't import a phrase you really use into this test version.

Bring your own keys

Move in without moving funds

Importing a wallet does not create a transaction and costs nothing. Your addresses stay the same, so there is no need to tell anyone you have switched apps.

  • Derives addresses for all seven chains from one phrase
  • Uses the first account on each chain
  • Keeps custodial and self-custody wallets side by side
Day to day

The parts you will use most

Multi-chain balances

Every supported coin in a single list, with its network and a total in your own currency.

Swap

Exchange coins in your Account on the same network. The quote and fees are shown before you confirm. Vault swaps come later, and swaps in this test version are simulated.

Send & receive

Scan a QR code or paste an address. Aurix checks the format against the chain you have selected and warns you before anything leaves the wallet.

Transaction history

A record of everything that has moved, with filters, status and a direct link to the block explorer.

Vault

A wallet encrypted on your device with its own password, asked for every send. It locks itself after the time you choose.

Test networks

This version runs only on test networks with coins that have no value, so you can try everything end to end.

Questions

Before you install

Can I use a custodial account and a self-custody wallet at once?

Yes. Both appear in the same app, and each keeps its own balances and history. Transfers between them are ordinary on-chain transactions.

Does Aurix charge a fee on swaps or transfers?

Network fees are set by the chain you are using and are shown before you confirm. Any Aurix service fee is listed in the same breakdown, with no amount hidden in the rate.

What happens if I lose my recovery phrase?

If recovery is on, you can ask support to restore your vault after a 2FA check, approval and a waiting period. If it is off, the phrase is the only way back in. The custodial Account doesn't use a phrase at all.

Do the extension, Android app and Windows app share data?

They are the same wallet when you import the same phrase, or sign in to the same custodial account. Nothing is synced automatically between self-custody installs.

Try it on your own device

Install Aurix, create a test wallet, and see how it behaves before you move anything of value.
